They were comfortable and kept my feet dry … when I wore them to talk around. But, they are NOT for intense sports like tennis and pickleball. The socks started shed their alpaca wool as my feet get sweaty during games. I am not wearing them for pickleball/tennis, or they will wear out or lose their effective properties quickly.
