This pair is a gift to my daughter. I had order annpair foe myself and she want a pair.

I bought the Hollow socks because of all the adds that kept popping up - annoying, but effective. I'm an avid hunter and have numerous brands of socks from Cabela's, Scheels, etc. with brands like Smart Wool, Darn Tough, and Merino Wool, and I like most of them. The Hollow Socks worked well. They were soft, just thick enough, and warm. Were they any better? I can't say for sure as they seemed "just as good" as the others socks that I was using on the recent hunting trip. Don't get me wrong they are a great sock, and I've only used them on one hunt, but they are probably on par with the other brands. All that said, Hollow Socks are pricier than the other brands I use, so that will enter into the thought of whether I buy them again. In closing - great sock, similar to other great brands, and pricier than most.

I bought the socks because I am an avid outdoorsman and was traveling to Kansas on a hunting expedition. I decided to try them out I had to walk thru a small stream and my left boot leaked, amazingly your sock seemed to absorb the water. I truly believe that I was wearing any other sock I would have had Wet feet for the rest of the day. Instead I had forgotten about it within an hour. To sum it up in one word Amazing!
