“While I haven't tried them in my snowboard boots yet, if first impressions hold up, I expect my feet to remain toasty warm no matter how cold it is on the slope! Wearing these socks around my home you can't help but be impressed with how undeniably warm they are!”
After two years of rigorous testing, we found the best natural material for high-performance socks: alpaca.
Softer and stronger than most other materials typically found in socks, alpaca fiber continues to prove it can withstand a wide range of activities and adventures. Whether you’re hiking, running, hunting, working, skiing or relaxing - the benefits of alpaca will keep your feet at a prime comfort all day long.

2018
THE DISCOVERY
After many long days going from the gym to the office to the trails, we discovered that the usual performance socks we depended on weren't cutting it anymore. We decided to take matters into our own hands and discovered the magic of alpaca fibers.
2020
RESEARCH
We spent two years researching and testing the best places to source alpaca fibers, the best type of alpaca fibers to use, and the best way to turn magical alpaca fibers into trustworthy performance socks.
2023
THE RESULT
Today, we proudly supply trustworthy performance socks using our unique alpaca fiber blend to adventurers around the country. Our socks keep feet everywhere dry and comfortable.
TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
Alpaca fibers have a semi-hollow core, which acts like natural insulation. That means they trap warm air when it’s cold out and release heat when things warm up—keeping your feet at a stable, comfortable temperature year-round.
Unlike synthetic fibers that tend to overheat or wool that can feel stifling, alpaca adapts to your environment, making it perfect for unpredictable weather, long workdays, or shifting seasons.
Alpaca fibers are naturally smooth and have a lower scale structure compared to sheep’s wool, which means they don't have the coarse or itchy feel some wool socks are known for. This smooth surface gives alpaca its signature softness—so soft, in fact, it’s often compared to cashmere.
And because alpaca has no lanolin (the greasy coating found in sheep’s wool), it’s hypoallergenic and ideal for sensitive skin.
Alpaca fibers naturally repel moisture thanks to their low absorption rate—about 8% compared to wool’s 30% and cotton’s 60%. This means they draw sweat and moisture away from your feet and release it into the air before it has a chance to soak in.
The result? Socks that feel drier, resist blisters, and stay comfortable whether you're hiking through the rain or hustling through 12-hour shifts.
Alpaca fibers naturally resist bacterial growth, which is what causes most foot odor. Unlike synthetic socks that trap moisture and odor over time, alpaca stays fresher longer—even with repeated wear.
Combined with its moisture-wicking and breathable properties, you get a sock that doesn’t just feel clean, but actually stays that way. That means less stink, less laundry, and more time between washes.

I was reluctant to believe that my feet would be comfortable in all temperatures during these days of 50 degree temperature changes. Much to my Suprise my feet were comfortable all day. I am looking forward to these socks on my next fishing trip in Alaska where we could have three seasons in one day.
