Sitting in a freezing stand with cold toes? Ruins the hunt. Tiny air pockets in alpaca fiber trap heat 3× better than wool to keep your feet warm all day. No more wiggling your toes to check if you can feel them.
Alpaca delivers everything you need for a successful hunt: adapts to temperature, natural scent control, moisture-wicking, durability, and circulation support. Instead of thinking about your feet, you can focus on the shot of a lifetime.
Alpaca is 25% stronger than merino wool alone, but these also have nylon reinforcement in the heel and toe zones. While premium wool socks break down under boot friction, these handle 200+ hunting days per year.
Most hunt socks stink because bacteria move in and set up shop. The keratin in alpaca fiber gives them nowhere to live. Wear the same pair four days straight in elk camp… your feet won't clear the tent.
Crew height handles 30°-70° and temperature swings during active hunting. OTC height delivers maximum warmth for -20° to 40° stationary sits. Both use the same unstoppable alpaca technology. Pick your hunting style (or just get both)

Hollow Hunt Socks do what wool and cotton can’t: keep your feet warm when you're still and bone-dry when you're moving.
| Synthetic Compression | ||
|---|---|---|
| Before sunrise | 3× warmer than wool | Another morning of cold toes |
| Hours in the stand | Hunters report warm, dry feet | Damp feet and a creeping chill |
| Boots off at camp | Less odor | That familiar post-hunt stink |
| After the first hunt | “Performed beyond my expectations” | “Was very doubtful about the product” |
Yes. Hollow reinforces every high-stress zone - heel, toe, arch - with military-grade nylon. The knit is tight enough to stay put without bunching or sliding. Shift after shift. Hunt after hunt. Range day after range day.
Alpaca fiber is naturally stronger than wool and softer than cashmere. The nylon reinforcement handles the structural load in high-stress zones. Soft where it touches your skin. Tough where your boot demands it. Not a contradiction - just alpaca.
Alpaca naturally resists odor-causing bacteria at the fiber level. No spray-on coating. No chemical treatment that washes out after ten wears. Just a fiber that stays fresh. Wear them through your longest hunt, shift, or range day and find out.
No. Alpaca fiber is hollow on the inside - air pockets pull heat away when you're hot and trap warmth when you're cold. Your boot traps heat. This sock fights it. Works the same whether you're on a job site, in a blind, or at the range.
Built for it. Cold mornings, long miles, variable terrain. Hollow thermoregulates automatically - warm when it's cold, cool when you're moving. Stays put through miles of uneven ground. No blisters. No bunching. No thinking about your feet.
Really. Try them through a hunt, a shift, or a range day. If they're not right for the job - for any reason - contact support@hollowsocks.com for a full refund. No interrogation. No hoops. We're that confident.
Most brands default to cheap materials. We demanded better. Alpaca is naturally thermoregulating, naturally odor-resistant, and softer than cashmere - without the bulk or chemical treatments of synthetic alternatives. We source it from the Peruvian Andes and knit it in America. No shortcuts either way.
I can literally wear these for 3-4 days without them stinking. Best socks I've ever owned. And the only ones I'll ever buy again.

Some of the best socks I have ever worn. Took them on a hunting trip Nebraska last year and kept my feet warm all 4 days of the trip.

I've always had cool feeling feet and trouble keeping my feet warm sitting out hunting but not with these. Kept my feet warm and dry all throughout my still hunts, up in a tree and in my ground blind. I didn't even have warmers in my boots to really test them out. Great hunting socks that also stayed over my calf not dropping down after a few steps.

I spent 12 days in Colorado chasing elk. I changed socks every third day. My feet were always dry and comfortable and no odor. The other guys in camp were impressed to say the least.
